Concurrent design and pilot
All IVR applications consist of the same types of code: menus, inputs, outputs, backend interfaces, etc.  Our toolkit allows a developer to specify just the properties necessary to distinguish one component from another, without requiring the drudgery of repetitive coding of <tag>...</tag> type programming..  Because we have condensed development down to the pure definition of the application properties, our toolkit can also be used during design definition.  Once the design phase is finished, a fully functional pilot application is available.

Rapid development
Since our toolkit allows you to define the distinct properties for each application component, without needing to duplicate the same "infrastructure" code over and over again, development time is reduced anywhere from 20% to 50% versus traditional VoiceXML development.

Modular code
Although VoiceXML supports modularity of code through it’s subdialog tag, this does not work well for complex multi-page or multi-tier logic flows.  Our toolkit allows a developer to group multiple components into a single "module" that can be called from any location.  These modules can consist of client side VoiceXML code as well as server side business logic.

Open standards
The code produced by our toolkit is completely standard VoiceXML 2.0.  This code can be run under any JSP application engine, e.g. Tomcat or WebSphere.

Dynamic application configuration
By manipulating the application definition properties and using modules to your advantage, an application can be dynamically re-configured on the fly.  It can be easily customized for specific callers, or groups of callers.  If a caller doesn’t have a particular account type, they don’t hear any menu options concerning that account type.  You can allow your customers to set preferences according to their own tastes, e.g. TTS gender or dialect.  You can allow your customers to create "Hot Words" to help them navigate to areas of importance to them within your application.  This level and ease of customization has never been available to developers or their customers before.
