Our Company

Cothern Computer Systems Inc. was founded in 1981 to provide software development services to regional clients. We are an information technology company of software architects, developers, and programmers. The entire CCS management and technical team employees have decades of technical and software application development background.

Cothern Computer Systems has two divisions: Application Conversions and Systems Integration, and Contact Center Technologies.

CCS became an early IBM Business Partner in 1982 when the IBM business partner program was first introduced. Through the years we have maintained a close relationship with IBM, along with many other industry partnerships.

In 1989 CCS performed one of the first installations of IBM CallPath computer telephony integration software, launching CCS into Contact Center Technologies. The same year CCS performed an application workload conversion from Unisys to an IBM platform. CCS developed a suite of automated migration tools, and leading CCS the Application Conversion group expanded rapidly.

CCS performs application workload migrations to IBM Power Systems AIX, Linux, IBM i, IBM z/OS, Windows, and other platforms. CCS have successfully completed conversions from many different IBM, Unisys, HP, and Wang. CCS technical capabilities provide the ability to re-write applications when conversion is not economically feasible or technically possible.

With IBM’s sale of CallPath to Genesys in 2001, CCS formed a strong partnership with Genesys, which provides the premier contact software today.

Over the years, CCS has cultivated a stable work environment. We are proud to say that the average employee has over two decades of service, and many have 20+ years of large-scale, complex application conversion and call center experience.
